Frequently asked questions

How many free AI breakdowns do I get, and what counts?

Each Apple Account gets 10 free AI breakdowns. Breaking down a task (or breaking it down again) or sorting a brain dump counts once, but only when steps or to-dos actually come back; if the AI asks you to say more, or doesn't break it down, it doesn't count. Splitting a step never counts and works before and after you unlock. After that, a one-time purchase in Settings → Ishizumi Full Version removes the limit, with no subscription. Adding your own steps, checking them off, the focus screen and the timer are always free.

How do I restore my purchase on a new phone or after reinstalling?

Sign in to the App Store with the Apple Account you bought it with, then go to Settings → Ishizumi Full Version and tap Restore Purchase. Your used free breakdowns also belong to your Apple Account, so reinstalling doesn't reset them.

Can I share the unlock with my family?

Not at the moment. The unlock isn't available through Family Sharing, so each Apple Account buys its own. Everyone gets the free download and 10 free AI breakdowns on their own Apple Account.

Is my list uploaded anywhere?

No. Your tasks, steps and completion history stay on your phone, with no account and no cloud sync. Only when you tap Break down, Split or Brain dump is that text sent through our server to Anthropic's Claude, and our server doesn't keep it. When you switch phones, restore from an iCloud or computer backup or use Quick Start, and your data comes along.

What if the AI's steps don't suit me?

You can edit, delete, reorder or add any step. If the steps feel too big, break the task down again with tiny steps, or split just the step you're stuck on. When you're tired, choose a lower energy level and the first step gets even smaller. Time estimates are only a guide.

Does it work offline?

Your list, adding your own steps, checking them off, the focus screen and the timer work without a connection. Break down, Split and Brain dump need the internet to use the AI.

Which languages are supported?

The app is available in English, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Spanish, and the AI's steps come back in your app language.

How do I report an inappropriate AI result?

In Settings, tap Report an inappropriate AI result, or email support@edgelingo.com directly. Tell us what you wrote and what the AI gave you; a screenshot helps us find the cause faster.
